Fastway Couriers Global holds its first international master franchisee conference

Fastway Couriers’ national master franchisees travelled from all around the world last month to take part in the company’s first ever international conference. According to information provided by the company, such meetings had previously been split into two: one for the Northern Hemisphere and one for the Southern Hemisphere. All master franchisees, therefore, met in London on 03 and 04 July for the company’s Global Conference. One reason for this, the company said, was because the circle of participants had increased with the national master franchisees for New Zealand and Australia as well as the new Fastway Couriers member for South Africa who is starting business in Pretoria this year.

According to Fastway, the master franchisees found the meeting very useful to make new contacts, exchange experiences and discuss the challenges they are having to face – especially during the current economic downturn. Besides offering a range of workshops, the company also used this opportunity to demonstrate some new technical developments. "Such developments are especially important at the moment to be able to establish and maintain a good market position," explained Robert Förster from Fastway Germany. The new technology included new scanner systems and web-based applications for Fastway customers.

Fastway Couriers Global Ltd. is currently active in ten countries and has a network of over 1,500 franchisees. (kbp)
