Fastway Couriers: four new branches in five months
Fastway Couriers has succeeded in starting up four new Fastway regions in Germany over the last five months and so closing the gaps between their different branches. A team of nine men and women are working within the network across the country following the company’s motto "Collected in the morning – delivered in the afternoon " for its local "same-day" service.
Fastway Couriers was founded in New Zealand in 1983 and has developed, the company says, into the world’s largest package courier franchise system. The system has been awarded many different prizes over the years. Fastway Couriers can be found in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Spain, Morocco and Germany. The Fastway couriers have an income from three different sources: delivery services, collection services and selling stamps. In the mornings and afternoons, they collect and deliver parcels and try to find new customers. At midday and in the evenings, the parcels are sorted in the central depot. The courier franchisees work as independent business people within their own area.
