Dina Dwyer-Owens appointed first vice chairwoman of the IFA
The Dwyer Group has announced that Dina Dwyer-Owens, chairwoman and CEO of the Group, has been appointed first vice chairwoman of the International Franchise Association (IFA). According to the information provided, the IFA is one of the world’s oldest franchise associations and also one of the largest with almost 10,000 franchisees, 1,300 franchise companies and 500 suppliers as its members.
Ms Dwyer-Owens is to hold the post for a period of twelve months. She commented on her new appointment saying, “This is an exciting time to be in a leadership role representing our industry. And I’m honored to be part of such an important organization whose members lead by example through the very brands they have grown into household names across our country.”
