City-Spot: advertising for local businesses

City-Spot provides SMEs with the opportunity to advertise their products and services regionally on a big screen. Screen Media, the system’s licensor, has announced that it has now completely revised the City-Spot concept and shall now be providing its franchisees with even more support.

According to the company, the City-Spot head office in the city of Radolfzell near Lake Constance produces everything that is required for the system – from the technology to the advertising spots. The franchisees also purchase all the necessary hardware and software from Screen Media. The franchisees’ main tasks are acquiring City-Spot locations and advertisement contents – they do not need to have prior experience of technology.

Founded in Germany in 1999, the network’s first franchisee opened up his business in 2004. Whilst the network is currently only active in Germany, information provided by the company reveals that is looking for licensees abroad to enable it to launch its concept in other countries. Such countries include Spain, Switzerland, Italy, France, Austria and Great Britain.
