CardGroup Greetings looking to expand within Europe

CardGroup Greetings markets greeting cards and other stationery articles via independent retailers on a commission basis. Most of the goods are produced by Britannia/Hambledon (Hallmark), Europe’s largest greeting card manufacturer, which produces 30 million cards a week, has a programme of 80,000 different designs and creates at least 8,000 new designs each year.

The aim of CardGroup Greetings is to set up a national network of franchise partners in the countries it is active in. Each partner works within his or her region according to the CardGroup Greetings instructions and using their materials. The franchisees are provided with a range of services from the system, for example, help to prepare the business start-up, administration assistance as well as ways to optimize sales. In addition to this, the partners take part in courses to learn about the marketing and presentation materials.

CardGroup Greetings can already be found in many European countries such as Spain, Switzerland, Benelux countries, Italy, Sweden, Scandinavia, France, Portugal, Austria, Cyprus, Norway, Greece and Germany. However, it is not looking to stop there. It is planning to launch its concept on other European and Eastern European markets and is currently on the look-out for suitable partners to help them to achieve this goal.
