Cafe2U helping to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support
Cafe2U, one of the UK’s largest mobile espresso coffee franchises, has announced in a recent press release that it is once again taking part in the “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” following the success of last year.
The “World's Biggest Coffee Morning” is one of the biggest fund-raising events in the country. This year, it is being held on Friday 28 September and it is estimated that several million people will be participating to raise funds for Macmillan, a group that helps people and their families affected by cancer.
According to the information provided by Cafe2U, around 270,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer each year. Macmillan’s aim is to support these people and their families through the illness. Cafe2U is, it says, keen to be involved again as last year proved to be such a success with their franchisees not only being able to raise money for a worthwhile cause but also to introduce themselves & the campaign to many new customers.
