Belvoir named Britain’s Best Lettings Agency Franchise

Belvoir has announced that it was named the UK’s Best Lettings Agency Franchise last month. This prestigious award was made at the 2010 Lettings Agency of the Year Awards, in association with The Sunday Times and The Times. The event, hosted by Estate Agency Events at the QII Conference Centre in London, was attended by the UK’s top letting agents.

Dorian Gonsalves, Operations Director, accepted the award on behalf of Belvoir from renowned comedian Ruby Wax. “The Sunday Times and The Times are extremely high profile newspapers and we are proud and delighted to receive this group award from them,” said Dorian. “The award for Best Lettings Agency is testament to the pride, passion and dedication shown by all our Franchise Owners in promoting the Belvoir brand, and providing outstanding customer service to their tenant and landlord clients. The award also recognizes the high level of support and training that the team at Central Office constantly provides, and on which we pride ourselves so much.

In making the award to Belvoir the judging panel noted: “Belvoir is one of the largest franchise operations in the country and one of the few specializing solely in lettings. They have stringent standards for franchisees to adhere to and high quality individuals are only accepted after demonstrating their drive to succeed and their potential make substantial returns for the group. Belvoir has grown their business across all key areas significantly despite the difficult market and they intend to continue this trend by adding an additional 20 franchisees this year.

To illustrate the importance that Belvoir places on continuous professional development they have recently increased their training budget for franchise owners.
