BB’s continues to grow
The BB’s Coffee & Muffins franchise network has been celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year as well as the opening of its 170th café. Not only is the network expanding but the company has also been introducing new products and business ideas to keep ahead of the market: a new savoury muffin, the Muffin Royale, for example, has been added to its range and it has also set up a new van delivery service.
According to information provided by the company, BB’s has almost doubled its estate in just three years. Phil Abbott, managing director at BB’s, commented, “We are continually expanding our presence and introducing new initiatives to make the brand more successful. In the last two years we have launched onto the high street and revamped our sandwich range with a resulting increase in sales of 30%.”
BB’s Coffee & Muffins is a network of shopping centre cafés in the UK and Ireland which sell freshly made snacks, freshly ground coffee and a selection of other drinks. Besides this, BB’s also offers New Zealand natural ice cream, sorbets and smoothies in a number of outlets or in stand-alone stores. According to Phil Abbott, the company’s goal is to have 200 cafés by 2008.
