American investor increases interest in Paketeria franchise chain
The American company, DSSI, has increased its share in the German franchise chain, Paketeria. “We were sure that the system was right straight away thanks to its concept, management and the great interest of both the franchisees and strategic partners in the idea of a “service supermarket”.
By increasing our investment we are strengthening the company base so that the system’s expansion plans can really take off," explained John Moore, CEO at DSSI. He believes that the Paketeria franchise concept is truly future-oriented for all those involved as priority is given to serving customers.
For Andy Rösch, founder and managing director of Pakteria GmbH, his American partner’s great financial commitment is a further milestone in the company’s expansion strategy. “We now have the financial freedom to grow in a more targeted manner,” Andy Rösch explained. Plans are to extend the head office in Berlin as well as to strengthen the system’s position on the market. Since its foundation, Paketeria has developed into a modern business centre providing a wide range of services. Last year, the post & parcel delivery business model was extended to include an eBay sales agency, a copy shop, an express photo developing service, a printer cartridge refill service (Fillfix) as well as a stationery shop (writing utensils and packaging materials).
The Paketeria network currently consists of around 50 branches and it is planning to expand abroad. To achieve this, it is on the look-out for master partners for both Europe and the USA.
