Acadomia: two new franchise branches in Berlin
Acadomia, a system providing children with private tuition, is opening up its fourth German branch this month. This is the network’s second franchise-run business in the country as two of the schools in Germany are owned by the company itself (in Stuttgart and Baden-Baden).
Acadomia sees itself as being a specialist for private tuition which is provided at the students’ homes. The lessons, which are on a one-to-one basis, are held, therefore, in a place where the children feel comfortable. According to the company it is this factor, together with the fact that only highly qualified teachers are used and that parents are called on to play an important role which make the system such a success.
The Acadomia Institute was founded in France in 1989 and has become market
leader in its field in this country as well as in Spain. Last April, Acadomia
launched its system onto the German market, too. Its network now has 114
branches around Europe and it sold more than 2,500,000 private tuition classes
in the business year 2004/2005.
