The Signs Express franchise has announced that its Derry business has been awarded a contract covering the graphics for Derry City Council’s new fleet of refuge collection lorries. According to the information provided, the Derry-based signage specialist was contacted by the local council to help design, print and apply vehicle graphics for seven large lorries and four smaller vehicles.
A simple but effective design was chosen which incorporated a recognisable green recycle logo on either side of the lorries. The big and bold statement is part of the council’s initiative to help promote their recycle message in the community.
Richard McGonigle, Signs Express (Derry) centre owner said: “Having worked for Derry City Council in the past it was great to be invited back to tender for the contract. We were given a simple brief to produce an eye-catching image which would translate well on the trucks and enhance the council’s environmental message.” (kbp)
