Atlantic Business Resources encouraging women to become franchisees

Atlantic Business Resources, a cost-management company, launched its franchise operations this spring and is currently on the look-out for suitable franchisees to join its network. Earlier this year, Atlantic appointed Becky Bruce, who had previously worked as Richard Branson’s PA, as the network’s franchise manager.

According to Atlantic, it feels there should be more women in the franchise business and especially in Atlantic. The franchise opportunity, it continues, offers a perfect work / life balance for mothers returning to work, either on a full-time or part-time basis. The franchisee’s business time can be carried out from home apart from the actual meetings with clients. Information provided by the company reveals that only 21% of those in franchising are women and Atlantic want more of them as franchisees. 92% of franchisees, it says, report being profitable, and considering the facts that the average age of franchisees is 40 - 45, that there are 364,000 people in franchising and only 76,000 of them women, Atlantic believes franchising should be an ideal place for a woman to start a business.

Atlantic offers its clients a wide range of services to held them cut costs in areas such as waste management, alternative fuels, gas, electricity, communications, stationery, insurances etc. Atlantic are already involved worldwide with a range of services on behalf of clients. It is now on the look-out for good professionals in the UK to join its network. According to the company, it is expecting to set up a network of around 150 franchisees to widen the availability of cost reduction and management services of Atlantic Business Resources throughout the United Kingdom.
