The Signs Express franchise, which is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary, announced recently that it has signed three new franchise agreements. The new centre owners are set to start trading in the coming months, meaning not only a positive sign for the UK and Ireland’s largest signage company but also for the franchising industry as a whole.
The three new franchisees are Mark Meadowcroft and Phil Harris, both of whom are taking over existing franchises, as well as Pat Ginty, who will be establishing his new business in Mullingar, Ireland.
Sales and marketing director Tony Marsh commented on the new signings: “The new franchisees coming on-board have given us a positive start to a year that all businesses are concerned about. Times are in no doubt tougher than they have been for years but the new signings show that the franchise model is still an aspect of business that is going strong.”
Tony continued: “Having been in operation for 20 years, we have experienced many fluctuations in the economy which have left us well prepared for different scenarios. The idea of becoming a franchisee with us is that you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself - a concept which gives our franchisees all the training and ongoing support required to become a successful operation in their own right.” (kbp)
