Signs Express, one of the largest sign businesses in the UK and Ireland, has announced that changes made at their head office has resulted in the appointment of a new managing director, Craig Brown, as well as two further directors to the business. Craig Brown takes over from David Corbett who has become chairman of the franchise. Frank Eliel is to continue as finance director whilst Tony Marsh has taken on the position of sales & marketing director and Peter Sayles operations director.
Signs Express was founded by David Corbett and Frank Eliel in 1989. Since then the franchise business has developed into a network of more than 85 franchise territories across the UK & Ireland. According to the information provided, Craig Brown was one of Sign Express’ first employees. He soon joined the franchise support team and was appointed director of franchise support in 2003.
Craig Brown commented on the changes to the team at Sign Express’ head office saying, “We have a strong team at head office and I am very proud of our achievements so far. The introduction of new directors and increase in shareholding ensures we have a long term sustainable future and enables us to develop the business further in the coming years. We are all very excited about the opportunities the new appointments will bring”.
