The START Exhibition - A meeting point for all those working in or
interested in franchising The START is one of the most successful exhibitions in Germany covering the
subjects of business start-ups, franchising and up-and-coming businesses. In the
past, the fair has been held in the City of Bremen in the spring and in the City
of Essen in the autumn. From 2007 onwards, Nuremberg will also be joining in and
holding its own START exhibition. Visitors to the event will have the
opportunity to meet experts, present their ideas and learn about successful
franchise concepts as well as to examine different financing methods. Besides
having a wide range of exhibitors, the fair also organizes and holds a programme
of free talks and workshops.

Over the years, franchising has become one
of the main themes of the START Exhibition. The German Franchise Association
(DFV) and many franchise systems have been using the fair as a platform to
