For the first 2 years of business, I paid my fixed fee regularly. However, I stopped paying 18 months ago. To date, no one has given me notice to pay the fee. What repercussions could this have?
The biggest risk is that the franchisor will terminate your franchise agreement as you have failed to fulfil your payment obligations.
Two questions that perhaps need answering are: why you are not paying your fee and why the franchisor has not issued you with notice to do so; perhaps you could discuss these matters with the franchisor.
