The Coffee Republic franchise has announced that it now has two outlets in Northern Ireland. The first Coffee Republic Deli opened its doors to the public at the Abbeycentre, Newtownabbey, on 29th February. According to the information provided, the Deli format combines the same coffee that Coffee Republic outlets normally sell but combined with a range of hot and cold fresh food.
The new Deli focuses on using produce from local food suppliers. Siobhan Mooney, commented on the launch, saying, “We are delighted to launch our flagship Coffee Republic Deli and ‘Centre for Training Excellence’ in The Abbeycentre, one of Northern Ireland’s longest established shopping centres.”
The franchise’s second Coffee Republic outlet opened up this month in Strabane, County Tyrone and is being run by franchisees, Dermot Kelly & Trevor Mealiff. The new outlet is, the company says, located in the newly developed Pavillion retail park.
