Yo! Sushi’s success continuing to grow
A report on the Internet portal, www.caterersearch.com, has revealed that the restaurant chain, Yo! Sushi, is reporting excellent growth despite the general negative mood of the branch as a whole. According to the information given the company enjoyed a 42% rise in post-tax profits to £4.3m in 2007 (up to 25th November) with like-for-like sales increasing by 6%.
In an interview with catersearch, Robin Rowland, chief executive of the chain, put this success down to an improvement in the quality of the company’s operations. The sushi restaurant chain currently has 30 outlets across the UK as well as 10 restaurants overseas which are run by franchisees and can be found in countries such as Ireland, Russia and the Gulf. Mr Rowland revealed that the company was looking to set up a further eight restaurants in the UK this year as well as many more on overseas markets.
