US franchise network for OAPs looking to launch its concept in Germany
Comfort Keepers, a franchise network providing services for elderly citizens, is on the look-out for franchisees in Germany. According to the German portal, geschäftsidee.de, the American system had recently launched its business concept on the market in Ireland and is now hoping to enter the German market by finding a master franchisee.
The company, which was founded in 1998, offers a range of services for OAPs enabling them to carry on living in their own homes as independently as possible. Such Comfort Keepers services include a shopping service, taking the clients out, doing their washing and cleaning their homes. Additional services are also possible, however, for example, helping them to take a bath or shower, to clean their teeth, have a shave or ensure they take their medicine at the right time. What their service package does not include, however, are medical services.
The network currently has more than 527 branches around the world, with most of them being located in the USA and Canada. In Europe, Comfort Keepers has, up to now, only been active in Great Britain and Ireland.
