thebestof group makes third place

An article on the Internet portal, thisisexeter.co.uk, has revealed that the website, The Best of Exeter, has, together with the other thebestof franchisees, been awarded third place in this year’s Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 league table. This is the 7th such annual league table: it is compiled by Oxford-based Fast Track and ranks Britain’s fastest-growing private technology companies by sales over a two-year period.

thebestof is a franchise network of local Internet websites which promote the businesses as well as restaurants, places to go and things to do in their areas. Since its foundation in July 2005, thebestof has become one of the UK’s most popular websites. The network currently consists of over 350 local sites which are each run by local people who live and work in their local area.
