Talking Tots reaches the 20 mark
An article published by the Talking Tots franchise on the Internet portal, www.responsesource.com, has announced the launch of its 20th UK site in just under twelve months. Talking Tots provides pre-school activity classes which aim to improve both pre-school children’s communication skills as well as their general confidence by using games, rhymes and fun activities.
The company was established by Tracey Park and Lisa Houghton, both experienced paediatric speech and language therapists. With the majority of pre-school groups concentrating on activities such as dance, music or swimming, Talking Tots focuses on communication and social confidence. Tracey Park commented, “Communication is the bedrock of everything children do, from learning to making friends. Our carefully designed classes enable children to boost their communication and social confidence, while they’re also having lots of fun and making friends.”
According to the information provided, Talking Tots is currently looking to recruit new class leaders across the country. The company offers its franchisees a comprehensive package which includes aspects such as training, class materials and administration and marketing support. Whilst franchisees do not need specific qualifications to work in this area, they should, the company says, be energetic and self-motivated and be very interested in children's communication and development.
Talking Tots is, it says, one of the UK’s fastest growing pre-school activity franchises. It has been awarded several prizes including “Best Innovation for 2008” at the What's on 4 Little Ones Awards. (kbp)
