Snap-on-Tools tops the bfa Franchisor of the Year Awards 2007
Whilst the British Franchise Association (bfa) is currently searching for the UK’s top franchisees, it recently announced the winners of its 2007 Franchisor of the Year Awards. The awards, which are backed by the Express Newspapers and the HSBC Bank, were presented at a special event last month.
Just as is the case with the current Franchisee of the Year Awards, the theme for this year’s awards was 'Customer Focus'. Due to the fact that the entries were of such high standard, gold, silver and bronze trophies were awarded for the first time. Gold was presented to the franchise network, Snap-On Tools, a system which sells mechanics’ hand tools and professional equipment directly to its customers. Silver went to Domino's Pizza and bronze to the home-cleaning agency Molly Maid.
During the same event, the off-licence franchise network, Thresher, was named 'Express Newspapers Brand Builder of the Year' and Clive's Easylearn Rock and Pop Schools was presented with the HSBC Enterprise Award.
