Recognition Express teams up with Brake

The Recognition Express franchise has announced that it has joined forces with Brake to help promote Road Safety Week 2010. Together, they are inviting pupils aged 3-13 to enter the competition by creating a banner design to raise awareness about road safety. According to the information provided, there are going to be 12 prize winners across the country and the winning schools will have their design printed onto a giant road safety banner to raise awareness during Road Safety Week. The winning schools will also each receive 300 high visibility drawstring bags and the winning designers will be presented with their own personalised high visibility vest.

The main theme of Road Safety Week is 'Kids say Slow Down' with the emphasis on getting drivers to slow down outside of schools. Recognition Express and Brake are, they say, looking for bold, eye-catching and simple designs which draw on this theme. The deadline for entries is 22nd October 2010 and the winners will be announced during Road Safety Week 22-28th November 2010.

The Recognition Express franchise is one of the leading companies providing products across Europe to maximise the impact of household names. Unlike many such companies, Recognition Express has no minimum order quantities. Its range of products includes, among others, badges, signage, promotional items, awards and plaques as well as corporate clothing, promotional merchandise and banner stands. (kbp)
