Paketeria opens its biggest store yet
The Paketeria franchise chain has opened a megastore in the German city of Schwerin – its largest store so far. The so-called ‘Super Service Shop’ in the centre of the city covers, according to Paketeria, 230 square metres and provides its normal range of services, namely a private parcel and letter delivery service, an eBay sales agency, copying service, a passport photo service and printer cartridge refilling service. Furthermore, the company’s mobile phone partner, The Phone House, also has a shop-in-shop business in the store.
Paketeria customers also have the opportunity to visit the Coffee-to-Go corner in the shop where they can surf the Internet or read their e-mails on one of the six Internet terminals and print out documents whilst enjoying a cup of coffee. “Such stores are located on every corner in the United States and we are aiming to introduce this new kind of flexible Internet print stop into Germany,” explained Andy Rösch, founder and managing director of Paketeria. Paketeria currently has around 60 locations in Germany. It recently opened up its first branch in Austria and is aiming to expand across the whole of Europe.
