Mrs.Sporty: 130th member of the ÖFV

Back in August, the fitness club chain, Mrs.Sporty, announced that it was intending to become active outside Germany and launch its concept in Switzerland and Austria. The company has now announced that it has become a member of the Austrian Franchise Association (ÖFV). “Besides being able to exchange experiences, we will also profit from the ÖFV’s required quality standards,” commented Valerie Bönström, managing director at Mrs. Sporty.

Steffi Graf is a partner and co-owner of Mrs.Sporty. The franchise system sees itself as being a personal sports club for women of all ages. The training concept is based on innovative circuit training lasting 30 minutes which enables the clients to improve their strength, stamina and agility and provides the women with the opportunity to improve their diet. There are currently over 100 Mrs.Sporty clubs in Germany. The network’s first Swiss and Austrian clubs are expected to open up in 2008.
