MD of Cash Generator raises money for the Make A Wish Foundation UK.
The Cash Generator franchise has announced that Julian Urry, from Pickmere, cycled 330 miles through Belgium and Holland in just four days to raise £10,000 for the company’s adopted charity, Make A Wish Foundation UK.
Julian says: “Cash Generator’s adopted charity for the last two years is Make-A-Wish, a national charity that grants magical wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. I want to raise £10,000 personally for the charity and following a successful 100 mile cycle last year, decided to make this year’s challenge even tougher.”
According to the information provided, Julian’s cycle also officially launched Tour de Cash Generator, a 1000 mile annual relay-style charity cycle that takes place in September, with employees from the company’s 117 stores taking part all across the UK.
Julian concludes: “We launched Tour de Cash Generator last year and it was a
resounding success. This year it will be bigger and better, and I am happy to
lead from the top with my own 330 mile cycle. It is a great way to spur on
employees ahead of their cycle in September, from which we hope to reach our
collective target of £100,000.” (kbp)
