London to host UK and Europe master licence event
Those looking for a master licensee in the UK or Europe should note the
following event in their diaries.
The International Franchising Centre is to host the Master Franchise Investment Conference in London on 18th February 2011. The purpose of the event is to introduce franchisors to investors. Director Iain Martin commented “Master licensing can be frustrating for both franchisors and investors. It’s like trying to date someone on the other side of the world and the distance between the parties can make communication and building an understanding difficult. This event brings both parties together whilst providing a lot of essential information on master licensing in the UK and Europe.”
According to the organizers, the event is structured so that franchisors can present their master license opportunity to an audience of investors in a formal setting before getting the chance to meet face to face and having more personal conversations. Martin says “It’s a great opportunity for franchisors to pitch to a whole group of investors and for the investors to see and make direct comparison between a number of master license opportunities. There is no more efficient way for both parties to achieve so much in such a short period of time.”
It will take place at The Franchise Show, Excel, London, which is being held on 18th and 19th February 2011. This means delegates at the master franchise conference will also get the opportunity to see how vibrant franchising is in the UK right now and be able to speak to other franchisors and master licensees that are operating in the market.
