Jani-King GB reports a system-wide turnover growth of 49 percent in 2008

Jani-King GB, a company active within the commercial cleaning sector, announced recently that the changes in the industry brought about by the current economic downturn are strengthening the position of national networks such as franchises. According to the information provided, commercial cleaning is seeing increasing growth in business from the top end ‘blue chip’ segment of the market as companies look to focus on their core competencies and outsource other areas of business.

This has been reflected in the latest figures released by Jani-King with its system-wide turnover in the UK growing by 49 per cent in 2008. This has, the company says, predominantly been driven by contract wins amongst ‘blue chip’ companies in a competitive tendering environment and an extension of contracts with more sites where Jani-King is already a preferred supplier.
