Fastway Couriers: a new general manager for the West of Ireland

An article published in the Galway Advertiser has revealed that the Fastway Couriers franchise in Ireland has appointed Pat Coen as its general manager for the West of Ireland franchise region. His future tasks will include managing company operations as well as developing the courier services and franchise opportunities in the West region.

Mr Coen has more than 30 years’ senior business experience and has worked in various European countries as well as in India and the United States. Speaking to the Galway Advertiser, Pat Coen said, “I am excited about my new position as General Manager and I am looking forward to working with our customers and franchise partners in the West of Ireland. In the coming months, my goal is to enhance the experience that our customers have with Fastway Couriers; growing the business and allocating the remaining franchise opportunities to suitable individuals. Based on my experience, I am confident that we can further the Fastway Couriers operation in the West."

Established in New Zealand in 1983, Fastway Couriers now has over 1,700 franchises in 10 countries. The concept was launched in Ireland in 2001. The franchise offers two levels of franchising: regional franchises and courier franchises.
