easyHotel chain to be expanded
According to a report published on the Internet portal, telegraph.co.uk, Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the founder of easyJet and other “easy” companies, is planning to further develop the hotel side of his business. He has, the article says, concluded an agreement with Splendid Hotel Group, an easyHotel franchisee, whereby 10 easyHotels are to be set up on locations throughout the UK during the next three years. This contract follows other deals concluded recently for easyHotels to be established in both Austria and Portugal.
The article continues saying that the easyHotel chain currently consists of six hotels located in the UK, Hungary and Switzerland. The company’s plans are to have increased this number to around 60 throughout Europe and the Middle East by 2010.
