Dunkin' Donuts: franchise growth in Spain
The Dunkin' Donuts franchise organization opened up three new stores in Malaga last December under its Spanish brand name, Dunkin' Coffee. The company has announced that the company’s regional master franchisee, the Andalusian company Grupo NRS, is planning to set up a further 43 stores over the next five years.
All of the stores in Andalusia are to be designed according to the franchisor’s new shop concept with warm colours and modern wooden furniture. Dunkin' Donuts was founded in Boston in 1950 and, it says, has become the world’s largest coffee and bakery system. It sells a range of donuts, bagels, muffins and coffee specialities.
