Curves franchise launches new programme in Germany
The women’s fitness club chain, Curves, has launched a new programme in Germany called “3,000 extra steps” in response to the “Health and Exercise” campaign currently being run by the German Ministry of Health. According to the company, the aim is to encourage both members of the Curves clubs as well as others to take part in walking and Nordic walking groups.
“All of our German franchisees will gradually be introducing the “3,000 extra steps” campaign into their clubs,” explained Kinnie Gibson, master franchisee for Curves in Germany.
With more than 10,000 clubs in 61 countries around the globe, Curves is, it says, the world’s largest fitness franchise. Curves provides its customers with a 30-minute work-out programme combined with power training and exercises to improve the body’s cardio-vascular functions. According to Curves, it provides its franchisees with a wide range of support including advice on finding the right location, training courses and marketing assistance.
