Coffee Republic continues to expand

Information provided by the Coffee Republic franchise reveals that the last three months have proven to be a great success as far as the expansion of its network is concerned. Last month, a new store was opened up in Bury by Andrew and Richard Liles which also offers free Wi-fi and the company’s Deli range besides its standard drinks range. In July, two new stores joined the growing network namely one in Gravesend, Kent, which is owned by David Waller, and a second which was set up in Leeds by Alistair McDowall.

June was a particularly successful month with three new openings in the UK as well as three abroad. According to the company, Paula Lavelle opened the network’s fourth Scottish Coffee Republic store in East Kilbride near Glasgow, Jenny Harris re-opened the Coffee Republic in Bournemouth and Karen Hillier & Will Flannigan now run their second franchise in Nottingham. The three international stores are at Malta International Airport, in Bucharest and in Bulgaria.

Coffee Republic was founded by Sahar and Bobby Hashemi in London in 1995 and since then has developed into a well-known espresso bar brand in the UK. (kbp)
