bfa Franchisee of the Year Awards: application deadline 29th June 2007
The British Franchise Association (bfa) is currently looking for the UK’s Franchisee of the Year. The competition is being backed by the HSBC Bank and the Express Newspapers. According to information published by the bfa, the theme for this year’s awards is ‘Customer Focus'. All people entering the competition must demonstrate how they keep in touch with consumer needs and how they consequently respond to fulfil these requirements through their systems, products or services.
The top franchisees will be invited to attend a black-tie event at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham on Thursday 4th October, which is being held during National Franchise Week, where they will be presented with their awards. The prize money totals £10,000 and has been given by the HSBC; it will be divided up between the top three winners (1st place: £5,000; 2nd place: £3,000; 3rd place: £2,000). Entry forms are available from the bfa website, www.thebfa.org, with the closing date for entries being Friday 29th June.
