Barilla launches a franchise concept for pasta bars
The Italian pasta giant, Barilla, has developed a franchise concept for pasta bars. According to a report published by the Internet portal, cafeFuture.net, the new franchise system is particularly suitable as a small business as the Barilla pasta dishes can be prepared using special equipment so that neither specialist personnel nor a licensed kitchen are required. The franchise system is planning to make the pasta cookers available to its franchisees but they will not be able to actually purchase them from the company. Using this special equipment, around 50 portions can be prepared per hour.
