A new regional franchisee for Fastway Couriers Ireland

A number of articles in the Irish press have revealed that Fastway Couriers has appointed a new regional franchisee in Ireland. According to the information published, Fergus Daly has taken over as regional franchisee for the South West of the country. His responsibilities will include him managing Fastway operations in the area as well as developing courier services and franchise business opportunities in the region.

According to information provided by the company, the Fastway Couriers franchise was founded in New Zealand in 1984. It moved to Australia in 1993 and then began expanding around the world. Today the company is active in Germany, Ireland, the UK, Northern Ireland, Spain and Canada. The concept was launched in Ireland in 2001. The franchise offers two levels of franchising: regional franchises such as that mentioned above as well as courier franchises where the franchisees carry out the actual work of collecting and delivering parcels.
