Bluebird Care, one of the UK’s fastest-growing providers of care at home, has announced that it is setting up two new offices in Glasgow and that another is planned for Dumfries. According to the company, this move will mean that it will have a firm foothold in Scotland, following the opening of its successful Edinburgh office in June.
Bluebird Care recently celebrated its fourth birthday and is, it says, growing month-on-month by 20 per cent. The company now has 34 offices in three different countries. The company works together with Social Services, GPs and Primary Care Trusts and also offers live-in support for people who would like, or who need, a greater level of care provision.
Bluebird Care’s franchise director, Simon Dalziel, said, “We provide excellent care for people in their own homes, which for many is a necessity that they simply cannot do without. We are also finding that people are taking redundancy payouts and starting a franchise business, such as ours. Because of this, we have been resilient so far to the recession.” (kbp)
