The franchise of ready-to-wear Calypso continues to increase

The American chain of clothes for women Calypso propose in its stores a range of clothes and accessories highly colourful and with a Hippy Smart Style dedicated to customers with a high purchasing power.


The brand Calypso has been created by the designer Christiane Celle (from France) who opened her first store in St Barthélemy islands in 1992 et that her lines are the symbol of having fun on Islands.
The dress is the main aim of the line, with all material and all design: short or long, colourful or not.
The brand is also making large trousers in silk or in a light cotton and also nice tops to wear from the morning until the evening on the beach or on party. 

 
After Christiane Celle left, Elisa Muller became the new designer and she created a summer line in the same idea “sunny holidays” which is really the originality of Calypso since the beginning.
The network has now 36 stores in France. Calypso belongs to the group Solera Capital which has the majority of the brand’s capital.


The line Calypso exists in Greece, Brazil, Japan and in Russia where it met a huge success because it represents the life style of customers that are not touched by the crisis yet.
