Cafe2U celebrates its first twelve months of business in Northern Ireland

The Cafe2U franchise announced recently that it had celebrated its first anniversary in Northern Ireland. Launched in Belfast in September 2007, the country’s first Cafe2U has, the company says, broken many records with Belfast now being Cafe2U’s second largest trading city.

During his visit to Belfast, Tom Acland MD commented, “The pace has not stopped and this year has seen a great year of growth. As well as four additional franchised operations in Belfast we have also added 17 franchised operations across the UK and the Channel Islands this year alone.”

The Cafe2U franchise was launched in Sydney, Australia, in March 2000 with the aim of providing areas such as industrial parks, office buildings, sporting events and corporate functions with a mobile service selling quality espresso coffee and complementary food items. Since then it has, it says, developed into one of the largest mobile coffee franchises in the world with vans in and around Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne and the United Kingdom. The franchise was launched in the UK in May 2005 and currently has more than 40 franchises in England and Scotland as well as Northern Ireland. (kbp)
