Fressnapf franchise named the most popular pet store
The Fressnapf franchise has been named Germany’s most popular pet shop chain: this was the result of the "Retailer of the Year Germany 2008" study that was carried out in Germany for the first time by the Dutch management consultants, Q&A Research & Consultancy.
According to information provided by Fressnapf, 33,000 consumers took part in the study. The participants were asked to name their favourite chain store in sixteen categories via the Internet. The criteria looked at included customer advice, value for money and the friendliness of the shop staff.
Q&A Research and Consultancy has already carried out similar studies in the Netherlands and Belgium. It was carried out for the first time this year in Germany, France and Italy. (kbp)
