International franchising: Buy Brand franchise exhibition 2008 in Moscow

Russia is considered to be one of the most important markets for businesses looking to expand internationally via franchising. For the sixth year running, the country’s largest franchise exhibition, the Buy Brand, is providing those interested with the opportunity to learn more about franchising in Russia.

According to the organizers of the event, around 175 franchise companies exhibited at the show in 2007. Many international franchisors were present from countries such as the Ukraine, Switzerland, the USA, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Japan and China. Over 5,000 people travelled to the show, with around 85 percent of them looking to join a franchise network.

The Buy Brand Exhibition, which is being held from 2nd to 4th October, is taking place at the "Expocentr" in Moscow. Besides being able to meet franchisors, visitors to the show will also be able to participate in the wide number of conferences and seminars that are being held parallel to the event.
