Yakety Yak Wireless – Right Model at the Right Time
Yakety Yak Wireless, offering a market-ready model for exclusive and multi-carrier franchise opportunities, has announced that it has found its greatest success so far in the metropolitan Oklahoma City area. According to the information provided, franchisee, Samantha Bentson, opened four Yakety Yak locations between July and December of 2008 because she believes “Yakety Yak brings the right model at the right time to the market.”
The innovation in this franchise is the Yakety Yak Wireless Express “business-in-a-business” option that Ms Bentson has implemented in her family’s Cashland Holdings stores. Three of her Yakety Yak franchises are located inside Cashland stores, and one is next to a Cashland, with a separate front entrance and an open format interior.
“The Yakety Yak Wireless Express model offers a modest initial investment, quick time to market, and low start-up costs,” Bentson said. “The build-out is modular, and there are a variety of configurations from which to choose, that are easily adaptable to just about any space available. This flexibility is further enhanced by the fact that as a Yakety Yak franchisee, I make the decision to be either an exclusive carrier or a multi-carrier for each location, based on what works best for my customers.”
Founded in 1999, Yakety Yak Wireless is headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif., and offers the latest cell phones and accessories from leading manufacturers, pre-paid and post-paid calling plans from national and regional carriers, as well as customized ancillary products. Customers can shop either online or in person for exclusive products and services, as well as repair and/or trade in their pre-owned cell phones through the company’s “Yak Green” recycle program.
