Papa Murphy's to increase its presence in Southeastern States

Papa Murphy's announced recently that it has signed three area development agreements which will result in it opening over three dozen locations in Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina over the next five years.

According to the information provided, a total of 39 Papa Murphy's stores are to be set up: Papa Bama Inc. will open 16 stores in the Huntsville, Alabama area within the next five years, with the first location opening mid-October. Diamond Cowboy Pizza, LLC is looking to open eight stores in the Memphis, Tennessee market within the next three years. And Papa Mint, Inc. has agreed to open 15 stores in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina market within the next five years.

Gregg Benvenuto, vice president of franchise sales at Papa Murphy's, commented, “Part of our business strategy this year and beyond is to grow new market share and increase Papa Murphy's brand awareness.
