| | Blizzeria Light goes Rumania | Since the beginning of 2008, the Blizzeria pizza chain has been offering
potential entrepreneurs a further business concept besides its delivery service
and restaurant models – namely its new "Blizzeria Light" concept. This covers
locations offering a delivery and take-away service but without an eat-in area.
According to Blizzeria, two franchisees have already been found for this new
concept in Germany for the cities of Munich and Heilbronn. Furthermore, the company is intending to set up its first international
franchise location. Information provided by Blizzeria has revealed that its new
partner for the new franchise business in Romania is a ex-footballer who used to
play for a German premier division club. Blizzeria Light franchisees need to invest between 60,000 and 70,000 euros to
set up their new business; the entry fee amounts to 10,000 euros. Once a
location has been found, the new business should be up and running after just
two months. Suitable locations are towns with at least 60,000 inhabitants.
