Following the announcement of the winner of its Franchisee of the Year award (presented to Amy Frank-Lewallen from Issaquah, Wash.), Fitness Together has named the recipients of its Annual Achievement Award and Best Turnaround Franchise Award.
Fitness Together’s Annual Achievement Award went to Pete Piranio who owns three Wisconsin Fitness Together personal training studios. According to the information provided, this award honors the Fitness Together franchisee or employee who made the greatest contribution related to the success of the organization during the past year.
The Turnaround Franchise Award was presented to Keoni Subioni of Honolulu who, the company says, has defied the economy and turned a struggling franchise into one of the network’s most profitable locations.
Based in Highlands Ranch, Colo., Fitness Together Holdings, Inc., is, it says, the world’s largest wellness organization. The parent company oversees Fitness Together Franchise Corporation, a one-on-one personal training fitness franchisor established in 1996, and elements therapeutic massage, inc., www.touchofelements.com, a massage therapy franchisor that began franchising in 2006. The combined franchise network currently includes more than 700 franchises across the United States, Costa Rica, Israel, Ireland, and Canada. (kbp)
