French franchise systems to exhibit at the Franchise Expo Miami
The Franchise Expo Miami, an international franchise exhibition being held from 9th to 11th January 2009, will be providing visitors with a unique opportunity to meet French franchises. Those interested in learning more about their concepts should go to the French Pavilion which is being organised by UBIFRANCE, The French Trade Commission and the French Franchise Association.
The French pavilion is being set up in Hall C and will be highlighting 10 French franchise concepts that are some of the most innovative and successful in France and Europe and that are looking to expand their presence to the United States and Latin America. They are active in several sectors such as Beauty Products & Skin Care, Cosmetics, Clothing, Fitness, Food, Franchise Consulting, Home Furnishings, Personal Care, Real Estate Services, Retailing and Wellness.
French exhibitors in Miami will include ABiTHEA, an online real estate network (booth #916), AC Franchise, the one-stop online shop for all franchising opportunities in France (booth #914), Body Minute, wellness centers for women (booth #917), Fidelio, a dating service for singles (booth #1014) Gautier, a furniture designer and manufacturer (booth #912) and MARCOSERUSSI, an original retail concept for clothes (booth #817).
Franchise Expo Miami attracts around 9,000 visitors. The US franchise sector is worth 1,500 billion dollars with 10% of private sector revenue coming from franchised businesses. The country has 760,000 points of sale and 3,000 franchise brands active in a wide range of economic sectors. It employs around 8 million people and a new franchise is created every eight minutes.
Last year, the exhibition attracted almost 8,800 visitors and 286 exhibitors from 39 different countries. The next Franchise Expo South is being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center from 9th to 11th January 2009.
