7 new franchisees join the Lasertech network

The Lasertech franchise, a manufacturer of printer cartridges and a supplier of office products, announced recently that seven new franchisees had joined its network over the past few months. Furthermore, its established franchise businesses have also increased their results despite the current economic downturn with sales at Lasertech up 40% on last year and Lasertech printer cartridge sales up 72% on last year.

Indeed, the company explains, today’s economic climate has meant that many companies have been forced to cut their office products budgets and many are turning to Lasertech brand printer cartridges which are up to 40% cheaper than the original brands.

New franchise offices opened up in South East Ireland and South Fylde in May and more will be following as new franchisees take part in the company’s two-week residential training courses. Lasertech has also been organizing a number of open days enabling those interested to learn more about the network. These events have, the company says, been well attended. Further discovery days have been organized for this year, for example on 11 September and 09 October – both events are being held at Lasertech’s head office in Warrington. (kbp)
