XXXLutz or the furniture’s cave of Ali baba!

Difficult to miss it, posted on the road connecting the downtown area of Nuremberg and the town of Munich, this immense 25 meters height red chair, symbol of world number 2 of furniture, XXXLuz.

Like its name indicates, the XXXLutz store of Nuremberg is characterized by its vastness: more 45.000m ² of sales area where more than 60.000 references are proposed to the customers. The average time spent in the rays? Three hours…where customers visit the four levels of this “megastore of furniture” and get some rest in one of the 400 sofas presented.

The fourth stage is exclusively dedicated to furniture design where many famous brands of furnishing are present in the form of corners. One finds thus certain well-known labels such as Natuzzi, Hülsta, Rolf Benz or W.Schillig. Despite the high prices, the consumers love these “luxury” products. The brand XXXLutz also set up services of interior decoration and installation which the customers answer favorably. Indeed, almost half of the families which get a kitchen or a bathroom call upon these services.

To supplement this offer, a restaurant with a Parisian café style is established in the XXXLutz store of Nuremberg. The prices are reasonable and the dishes of a completely satisfactory quality. A gigantic space of plays for children is also placed at the disposal of the parents. Their small children can thus plunge in a balls swimming pool or play Playstation.

Originating of Austria, this brand specialist in furnishing exists since 1945. Present in Germany and Austria, this master of furniture wishes to implant in France in the next years. “We have worked for several months to establish on the French market where we have no competition, reveals Jean-Marie Nicolaï. We are under discussion with several cities and we are seeking surfaces of 20.000 m ² minimum. Our first opening is not envisaged before two years.”
