The first menu at Arby’s contained the soon-to-be-legendary roast beef sandwiches, chips and drinks.  Later, as the trend grew, French fries, kid’s meals, other sandwiches and healthier options were added, like the Market Fresh® sandwiches, wraps and gourmet salads. Arby’s offers wonderful support and training programs to their valued franchisees. The basics of managing and working in a restaurant, how to manage labor & food costs, shift management, managing facilities, customer service, drive-thru & frontline, product preparation, and many more topics are thoroughly covered in Arby’s Management Training Program.

Once the actual restaurant is constructed, Arby’s offers ongoing support in operations, training, marketing, quality assurance, packaging and equipment support. Important data on demographics, competition and mapping are shared with every franchisee .

Arby’s strategy of marketing and the brand’s yearly marketing calendar are continually being developed and redeveloped. The marketing team at Arby’s uses packaging design, influential and convincing merchandising, in-field marketing, nation-wide marketing, innovative advertising, break-through product development and primary research to accomplish its goals. This, in combination with their comprehensive training, make Arby’s a state-of-the-art franchise .

Franchisees are required to have 3 people from their team attend and complete Arby’s seven- week program before the store’s opening. These programs are held at one of Arby’s several Nationally Certified Training Restaurants across the country. With the help of this program, the franchisee is provided with the necessary skills needed to successfully operate the store.

The franchisee , however, is not left alone after the introductory education. After your store is operational, Arby’s provides several continuing-education workshops including titles like: Motivating today’s employee, Arby’s Red Hat Service, Employee Retention, P&L Analysis and Time Management & Decision Making.

Arby’s is now looking for retail and multi-unit food-service operators, as well as successful investors. Any franchise applicants can apply, but it is required that they must either complete Arby’s extensive training-program or already have qualified and experienced restaurant operators on their team.
