The McClean network is looking to expand further
McClean has turned the idea of a WC and hygiene centre into a franchise system. Great importance is attached to the chain’s public toilets being clean, safe and comfortable – and there is also a shop selling hygiene articles integrated into the centre.
The centres are run by specially trained staff and the toilets are permanently manned. The entrance charge for using the centre differs according to what services are used. The McClean hygiene centres have a uniform corporate design.
McClean franchisees can choose from different business concepts depending on the location. The choice ranges from small unisex centres to separate facilities for men and women. According to the company, the centres display a perfect blend of architecture, furnishings and service.
The network was founded in Switzerland in 1995 and can currently be found in a variety of countries including Luxembourg, Switzerland, France and Germany. McClean is planning to continue the international expansion of its network so that it is active on all five continents.
